blog everyday in May - a moment in my day


The best moments in my day are usually because of this little lady. Walking her is like my therapy. Early in the morning before the day starts properly, when there is hardly anyone around, wakes my brain up for the day ahead. 

And walking her after a long day at work is like a detox; all I can think about is how lucky I am to have her and how happy something as simple as a walk makes her. She was a rescue dog and shows you so much love for the smallest of things. How can you stay angry when you have a little wagging tail to welcome you home.

  1. Dogs really are natural de-stressors. If my Border Collie were walkable, I'd be walking her as much as I could daily. Instead I sit on the porch and cuddle with her as the sun rises and then as it sets. I love this post and what a cute pooch you have!

  3. I agree, walks (+ dogs!) are totally a great (and simple!) decompressor for me. How fun to get to have both in one foul swoop!
