back to earth with a bump

After a week in England, my wishes came true when the snow fell in London on Saturday night. Unfortunately it just meant sitting on the plane for 3 hours in heathrow waiting to be de-iced before we could take off.

I was kind of hoping it would mean not being able to fly full stop, but alas, we flew, along with suitcases packed to the brim with a vast amount of shopping and our bellies full after a week of indulgence including roast dinner, a china town trip and too much tea and cake.

Back to work is always an issue, especially after such an amazing 8 days in London. Thank god its friday.  Time to plan the next London escape...
