Obviously the fever surrounding the Olympics in London is taking hold over the city and even though I am not present (thank god because I can only imagine the hell that is going to ensue on London) I still like to keep informed about goings on.
Many British and international brands have been cashing in on the hoo haaa surrounding the Olympics with special collaborations, limited edition product releases and British themed bits and pieces popping up all over the place.
But the one that I have taken most notice of is the recent launch of the Adidas Originals collaboration with New York brand Opening Ceremony. The capsule collection inspired by the Olympics offers a range of sporty style pieces with quirky prints and a bright colour palette of purple, red and orange.
The combination of garment technology and fashion - something mainly seen in that women's hold everything in place underwear - makes the pieces in the collection out, taking sport luxe to a whole different level. My favourite is the black peplum top with pattern detail.

The collection is available from the Opening Ceremony pop up shop which opens in Covent Garden on 19th July.
