Making Waves

Back in December 2009, I somehow stumbled across the Charlotte Taylor Ltd blog. I was hooked from the first word - not only because I LOVED her writing style and her whitty but professional approach, but because she was a [and is an extremely talented] fashion designer, pursuing success for her own label, and having us all along for the ride. From collection drawing to catwalk show, the ups and downs and trials and triumphs were laid down in an honest reflection.

Her first collection, inspired by grannys and peguins, showcased at Vauxhall Fashion Scouts presentation space in Freemasons Hall. She has also gained press approval from Vogue.com, Grazia, The Telegraph, and with the collection on sale at Coggles.com and Young British Designers, she seems to be on the right track.

Second time around, with her SS11 collection, Charlotte was announced as part of the "Ones To Watch" catwalk with Vauxhall Fashion Scout. With quirky and creative designs, and her subdude colour palette with a kick, she has yet again offered up a wonderfully feminine and well constructed collection.
